Rock the Parkway

Participants in all three events will enjoy running along one of the most historic and beautiful parkways in the Midwest. All Rock the Parkway distances start and finish in front of Burns & McDonnell, 9400 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114.

HALF MARATHON
As a participant of the 13.1 you will receive: Chip timing, USATF Certified Course, Tech running shirt, BIG Finishers Medal, top overall and 5-year age group awards (see below), Runners Edge Pace Teams, six aid stations, large mile markers, and post-race festivities.

Participants must maintain a 14-minute-per-mile pace. We have recruited pace group leaders for the half marathon from the Runners Edge Training Program for pace groups at five minute intervals from 1 hour 30 minutes (6:52 pace) to 2 hours 50 minutes (13:00 pace). 10K RACE
As a participant of the 10K you will receive: Chip timing, cotton shirt, top overall and 5-year age group awards, three aid stations, large mile markers, and post-race festivities.

PACKET PICKUP & RACE EXPO
Packet pickup will be at Garry Gribble’s Running Sports inside Ward Parkway Center, 8600 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114:

Thursday, March 25: 4-8 p.m.
Friday, March 26: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Packets may also be picked up on race morning from 6 to 7:30 a.m. at Burns & McDonnell, 9400 Ward Parkway.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers (six total) for the half marathon, 10K and 5K in the following age categories:
